- Recently, the IAP - TU Dresden GmbH got the state approval for its postgraduate degree in Children and Adolescent
Psychotherapy (focus: Behaviour Therapy).
The programme offers the complete training to become a
psychotherapist, with a strong link to practical application; it ends with a state examination.
- Postgraduate degree, offering a 3-year (or optionally 5-year part time) curriculum to become a state-approved
"Psychological Psychotherapist" (according to German law, ending with a state exam). The degree is conducted by the IAP - TU Dresden GmbH
(Outpatient Department and Day-Hospital of the Institute). Each year, 15 to 18 participants are chosen for the degree.
Since 2009, applications from the whole European Union are accepted for the postgraduate curriculum "Addiction Research".
The two-year curriculum is conducted by the "Dresden International University" under the supervision by Professor Dr. Gerhard
Bühringer, with the aim of doing a dissertation thesis parallel to a full-time occupation. It allows for up to 15 participants
and is funded by the VolkswagenStiftung.
